About Niamh
Bachelor of (Occupational Therapy) (Honours)
Niamh is an Occupational Therapist who graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) from the National University of Ireland, Galway. She has worked across a variety of clinical settings in both Ireland and Australia and has over three years of experience supporting children and families within the NDIS framework.
Niamh is passionate about helping children develop the skills and confidence they need to participate in the activities that are meaningful to them. She takes a neuro-affirming, strengths-based, and client-centred approach to therapy, recognising that every child is unique. Niamh enjoys building strong relationships with children and their support networks, working closely with families, caregivers, and educators to create collaborative, enjoyable, and meaningful therapy experiences that support participation and independence across home, school, and community environments.
Recently, Niamh progressed into a leadership role within Child Led Therapies, where she supports and mentors members of the Occupational Therapy team while helping to maintain high-quality clinical practice and service delivery across the organisation.
Niamh has a special interest in paediatric feeding therapy and is a certified SOS Approach to Feeding therapist, having completed the internationally recognised training earlier this year. She enjoys supporting children and their families to develop positive, pressure-free mealtime experiences and to build confidence with food at their own pace.
Outside of work, Niamh enjoys staying active through running, competing in HYROX events, and going to the gym.
