About Amy
Bachelor of (Occupational Therapy) (Honours)
Amy is a Paediatric Occupational Therapist who graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. Shortly after completing her studies, she relocated to Hong Kong and began her career with a non-government organisation. Over the past 22 years, she has gained extensive experience providing occupational therapy services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, developmental delay, visual impairment, selective mutism, and various other learning difficulties, supporting their growth and functional development across home, school, and community settings.
Amy has worked across both school-based and centre-based services, applying sensory integrative and developmental approaches to meet the diverse needs of the children she serves. She has completed training in Ayres Sensory Integration (SIPT), giving her a strong foundation in understanding sensory processing and its impact on daily function. With extensive experience in providing child-directed, play-based intervention, Amy is skilled at creating engaging therapeutic environments that support regulation, participation, and confidence. She is also certified in Therapeutic Listening and M.O.R.E., and has recently completed workshops with Learning Without Tears to further enhance her ability to support children’s handwriting, fine-motor, and school-readiness skills.
Her practice encompasses the full therapeutic journey—from assessing each child’s strengths and challenges, setting meaningful goals, and collaborating closely with parents and teachers, to delivering targeted interventions and celebrating every smile and success along the way. Amy is deeply committed to walking alongside children and their families, fostering progress, connection, and joy throughout their developmental path.
